Committed to delivering successful websites at affordable prices
My name is Gillian, owner of WebDesinz. I have a Business Degree and a New Media Production qualification. I made a promise to help people locally get ahead in business, by creating, developing, and delivering websites at affordable prices.I have been a freelancer for the last 10 years, deploying new sites or refreshing old sites, by changing the look and feel of the design, or adding new features. Some of my earlier customers are still using my services, even after all this time. I choose WordPress Content Management Systems to build sites. They allow thousands of beautiful themes to be configured differently for every customer, and unlimited plugins to fulfil any functionality that you could ever imagine would be required. I have never found WordPress lacking, and now I don't use anything else. Building tasks may include Content writing, Graphics creation, Ecommerce, Booking Systems, inserting on-page SEO, Social Media links, Google Accounts and Newsletter Account creation.
After a site is built I can do Graphic Design for Print media as well; i.e. create your logos, business cards, and fliers.
I also train users to manage their own website.I can either visit you, or you can come to my office. I can also be hired as your Virtual Assistant, carrying out your work remotely via phone, email or Zoom/Skype.
My initial consultation is free – if you come to my home office in Glenfield to discuss your requirements.
How Projects are conducted
1 Planning Stage: We meet for a free consultation. At this meeting we discuss requirements, theme, hosting, and agree to terms. I then email a written proposal with full estimate of costs. If you wish to go ahead, you would sign proposal and submit a 50% deposit.
2Development Stage: I would install WordPress, Theme, Plugins, Pages and Posts. You would provide your content and I would assemble the site. If you are submitting content to me, images must be in pdf, jpg or png formats. Text content can be emailed in a MS word document.
3 Publishing Stage: I add Social Media links, Forms, Emails, and Newsletters, and Maps. Test the site, then you test it and verify. When the site is ready to go live, we meet to run through everything and you sign off completion. Then the final 50% balance is due.
